Chris is an Executive Director with Ecosmart. He is an experienced
general manager specialising in delivering corporate turnaround and leading
high growth companies. In leadership roles at SSG, and Accenture and in other
senior management roles, he has developed and delivered pragmatic and
innovative strategies which achieved rapid and sustained growth. Chris has worked and lived
in the USA, Europe and in many countries throughout Asia Pacific. Chris has a Bachelor of
Commerce and MBA.

BEng (Hons), MSc (merit) Renewable Energy and the
Environment

|
Ian has come into sustainability from an Engineering background and
first developed his interest by completing an MSc in Renewable Energy and
Energy management in the UK. His experience
whilst working in the UK for XCO2 (a leading
energy consultancy) included working with local authorities, planning
departments, architects and developers at many stages of development and
refurbishment for both commercial and residential buildings. Experience to date includes being a trained
EcoHomes assessor, this sustainability measurement methodology was used to push
forward the boundaries of sustainability within residential developments.
Evaluation of renewable energy options to provide 10% of development energy
requirements from on-site renewable energy in line with the Greater London
Authority Energy plan. Options appraisals analysing upgraded thermal
performance, heat recovery, natural ventilation, & thermal massing, for
both new build and refurbishment projects. Analysis and consultation to
architects and developers for Building regulations compliance for Building
Control submissions.

Mr Coleman (LLB Hons, BA Hons, University of Melbourne) has worked as a lawyer and public policy adviser since admission to practice in 1995. He has extensive experience of the regulatory and policy environment. Michael worked as a policy adviser for Western Australian parliament for two years, and spent two years in the Economic section of the Department of Treasury and Finance, advising on regulatory reform and modernisation. Michael's interest in environmental and sustainability issues was driven in part by his experience as the inaugural policy adviser to the Environmentally Sustainable Development Committee of the Legislative Council of WA, reporting on areas such as forestry, water supply and waste management. He was also involved as a Treasury officer in reforms to forest management, as well as the gas, electricity and health sectors.

Mr Gardiner has extensive experience
managing, coordinating and designing social and environmental change programs
on a state and national basis. His
experience covers working for both state and national environment and social
service organisations. More specifically
Cameron has worked as a Research Associate for the Centre of Excellence in
Cleaner Production in the Resources and Environment Department of Curtin
University in Western Australia, developing case studies on eco-efficiency for Environment
Australia and educating small to medium enterprises about Cleaner
Production. Mr Gardiner has also been
involved in educating organisations through his work with the West Australian
Sustainable Industry Group. Recently
Cameron has been working for the Department of Environment and Environmental
Protection Agency in Western
Australia as a Senior Natural
Resource Management Officer in the Corporate Communications Branch. Mr Gardiner holds an Associate Diploma in
Business and a Batchelor of Commerce Degree and has completing Graduate
Certificate in Cleaner Production. He
has completed the Housing Industry Associations Greensmart Professionals
Course and is a registered Greensmart Professional, completed First Rate
Training.
