Solar Power – benefiting Cockburn Community homes environmentally and economically

City of Cockburn Mayor Stephen Lee has endorsed the good work of solar energy companies like EcoSmart saying that the benefits that could be experienced by homeowners after installing Photovoltaic Systems at their property are two-fold.

Mr Lee said that homes that have the Solar Power system installed can save about $300 per year, at todays prices, on their electricity bills and also make a positive contribution to the environment.

“It’s so important to think of everyway we can reduce our greenhouse gas emissions and do our bit towards a sustainable future, whilst saving money.”

“I recently signed up for a Solar Power system at my home and I am looking forward to seeing reductions in my energy bills but more importantly it’s great to know that I’m doing my bit for the environment by reducing my home’s greenhouse emissions.”

“I encourage anybody in the community that is looking at ways to make their home or business more sustainable to make contact with companies like Ecosmart who are offering affordable solutions and advice.”
